It's been a great month for me. Paula and I have been spending tons of time together, listening to records, going out for drinks, etc. All that good stuff. I really like Paula, I think she's a great girl. I'm just not sure I like her "that way" i.e. I like her but don't see myself as loving her. We could be friends maybe, but I'll have to feel it out. For now I'm just having fun. We've never gotten too serious and I like that. I've been teaching her all about people search and she seems keen on it. I'm still better than her but she's catching up. Too bad there's not like a people search Olympics. Then we could truly match our skills. Right now we're working on how to properly search business records. I find business records to be especially helpful when trying to track down shady investors and the like. Those people always leave a paper trail. Paula is into marriage records, but I think that's because she's a girl. Anyways, we're planning on going out for Thai tonight so I better go get ready.
It took less time than I thought it would, but I found someone wonderful to replace the hole Julie left in my heart. Using the wonder that is a person search, I found a lovely girl named Paula who actually thought it was way cool I looked her up. She's not into the whole traditional thing. She says we're in the 21st century and shouldn't be tied to old school "courting rituals" that are "heteronormative" (whatever that means). She wants me to teach her how to search people, which is going to be so fun to do. Can't wait, actually.
Another thing Paula loves is music. Her taste is way more eclectic than mine and she knows tons more bands. At least I can come up with funny stuff like this record label diets list to entertain her. I hope she doesn't think I want her to go on a diet or that I think she's fat. Uh oh, that'd be horrible. Maybe I should wait to give her that one until we know each other a bit better.
It's been a hard 2 weeks without Julie around. I'm getting over her but it's taking a lot of time. Everytime I want to run a people search
I just keep thinking of her. I never thought she would get so mad about
it since that isn't what happened in Groundhog Day. I know that's a
movie and this is real life but still, we we were getting along so
well. Why does it matter that we were strangers? Now I'm going to have
to keep doing people searches until I find a person
that makes me feel like Julie did. Until then I'm going to try and make
myself laugh since laughter is the best medicine, right? Here's a good
and funny list about other reasons for a 3am phone call. A little dated, but still funny!
Would you believe it?? Julie totally dumped me when I told her that I'd actually been lying to her all along, we were never classmates in elementary school, I just know how to find someone online. Who knew that people search would get me in so much trouble? Ugh, I'm done with women - well, unless I met the woman who already knows about Olive Oil for the Cultured Girl, then I could be convinced. I've heard about Life Extension, but what's the point if you're spending it alone?
Okay, so things are actually going really well with Julie. When we grabbed coffee, it was totally like that scene in Groundhog's Day when Bill Murray pretends to be that woman's classmate, and then the woman totally pretends to remember him. Remember the scene I'm talking about? So when she started pretending, "Oh, right, now I remember you," I couldn't tell her, "Just kidding, I only know you from people search." Anyway, it turns out we have a lot in common strangely. We both love Stanley Kubrick movies and have the mission in life of climbing Kilimanjaro. Crazy huh? But this poses a crazy ethical question, when can I tell her I just know her from search people? If I do it too soon, I'll scare her off, but if I do it too late, she'll hate me for lying to her all this time. Maybe I could tell her she can do a background check on me so she knows I'm not a serial killer or something. In the meantime, hadoop.
Well, I didn't find another old flame, but I did find a new one! Shhh, don't tell, but I actually found her on person search. Yeah, see, I was bored, so I start doing a person search for random names like Jennifer Richards, Ann Parker, Julie Smith, names like that. And I found one person who lived only a block or two away from me. I didn't get a whole lot of information from the people search, but with the help of Google, I guessed what elementary school she probably went to. Then, a few days ago, I strolled past her place as she was outside trimming roses or something, and was like, "Oh my gosh, are you so-and-so? Didn't you go to blah blah elementary?" You should have seen the look on her face! It was priceless! Anyway, we're going for coffee tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I don't recommend this strategy, but finding people using a people search engine is really easy!
Man, I'm so glad the holidays are over. Remember that high school flame I wrote about in my last post. She never called me after we met for coffee. I did background checks on her on a daily basis, just to make sure she hadn't died. I was really worried! I was really freaked out that I could never get hold of her! I would call her phone and she would never pick up! I had this grizzly image of her body lying out in the desert somewhere with vultures lingering over it and her phone ringing into oblivion! And the thing is, I called her at totally different times of day! Like when shed didn't pick up at 1pm, I figured she was at work. So I called around 5ish, but maybe she was in traffic on her way home. So I called at 7, then again at 10. None of these times worked! And I tried them every single day! For three weeks! Finally, she just sent me a text that said, "Stop calling me." How weird! Why would she send me that? I've done background checks on myself dozens of times, and I'm clean as a whistle. Weird, weird. Oh well, at least I know she isn't dead, but it just means I have to find a new old flame to have coffee with. Wish me luck. Here's where I'll be starting: this page has a lot of great people search info. Next, this blog is all about people search. Finally, unrelated but interesting, a great guide about how to buy and sell real estate online.
Alright, I know I said that all the holidays were downhill after Halloween, but sometimes when the right Christmas song plays at just the right time (my personal favorite is "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby), you can't help but be in the Christmas mood. That's how it's felt for me the past few days. It also helps that I looked up one of my high school flames and met her for coffee a few hours ago. I don't want to jinx it, but I think there might have been some holiday magic in the air, you know what I mean? Don't get me wrong, nothing happened at coffee, but just little things: like the way she looked at me, the way she brushed the snow off of my mittens, I think something might happen soon. I will keep you posted. She said she wanted to do a background search on me! I said, that was fine! LOL! I even gave her a great site where she could do that! How funny! I'll let you know how that turns out, and if she rejects me, so what? I'll find someone else. I totally know how to find people.
Yes it's official, holiday season in offically upon us. I use Halloween is my holiday season marker, from here on out it's all downhill :) Don't get me wrong, its great to get the time off from work, but it costs an arm and a leg. One spending spree after the next. It usually takes me the whole year to save up for this time of year, what with flights to family thanksgiving and Chirstmas gifts, it's endless. I always get to thinking about family and friends I've lost touch with over the years and find Christmas is a great time to reconnect, a simple Christmas card is an easy way to touch base and give them your contact details, leave the ball in their court, so to speak. And if you read my blog on a regular basis you know the best way to find people is using people search engines. But you say, where to start, there are so many different people search engines out there, well my suggestions are to read people search review sites or other bloggers recommendations, here are a couple of great sites to get you started:

find people now
And as you know its never fun to attend all these holiday parties by yourself, so I've been researching the best way to meet someone online and found this site you absolutely have to check out (its tongue in cheek, but we all need a good laugh sometimes) : GiantLists.com - Online Dating
It's true, it's officially fall. I don't know when it happened, but all of a sudden it wasn't summer anymore. It also just hit me that the days are getting shorter. Like the other night for example, I thought it was really late, but it was only like 7:15, which was weird. It was basically dark out. I hate that. It's going to be even worse when we turn the clocks back. It just makes you more tired early and it causes it to be colder and it just over all blows. Oh, and I went and bought that ipod thing, but I can't figure out how to work it so it's still sitting in the box in the corner of the office. I'm so pathetic. I'm usually pretty good on the computer, I mean I'm a whiz at finding people online and stuff, but when it comes to gadgets, I'm all thumbs. On a slightly less stupid note, I found some good people search sites I wanted to post for you guys. These were really helpful for me, so I thought that I would pass it along. Enjoy! And if anyone can help me with my ipod, let me know!!!
